Q:Thrustmasters wheels

Which wheel is my best bet for Microprose GP2?

Thrustmasters (new!) GP1 wheel
              or
Thrustmasters T2 wheel and pedals

Does the GP1 have analog accel. and brake functions (on the wheel)?
If not, can you buy the pedal set that comes with the T2 seperately?

Will these wheels (T2 and GP1) connect to a Soundblaster gameport
without any problems?

Basically, Im looking for a wheel with gear shifts on the wheel and
analog accel. and braking device (doesnt really matter if its a pedal
set or not).

Any suggestions/answers would be appreciated!

If you like pedals, go for the T2. If you like shifting on the wheel itself,
go for the GP1 or better go for the T2 and put these shifter buttons on it by
yourself, there's a manual somewhere on the web on how to do that, it
shouldn't be that hard.

Yes, on the wheel, it has no pedals.

AFAIK not.

If you've got very very very bad luck you will have problems, but looking at
my own T2 and the general opinion in this group, chances everything will work
just fine are about 99% I guess!

Then the GP1 is the way to go, though I would REALLY recommend pedals, they're
a lot of fun! (You can kick'em to the floor, which rocks!!)

My pleasure.
