Anyone ever take Antoniusbuche FLAT?

Just wondering,

in a thread at RSC this subject came up and now I wanna ask around:

Anybody ever succeed in taking Antoniusbuche (the killer corner after
the straight on the Ring) absolutely flat in GPL?

In a Lotus, Ferrari or Eagle, that is?  (There are rumours it can be
done in a Cooper, but an Eagle is something else!)

On my fastest lap (8:15.08 yesterday, woohoo) I thought I took it as
fast as it would go, two wheels in the air, and I certainly wasn't flat
out (too much of a wuss!  ;), so if anybody ever managed to do that full
bore: stand up and be counted!   :)

Regards, Rudy
(GPLRank -16)

PS. Same for Masta in the fast cars, of course!

   Masta - yes
   Other - doubtful

Did an 8.02 at Ring back in 98/99 and was never close to doing that
corner flat out. Doubt anyone could/did.

Ive done antonius ( i thought that turn was tiergarten) flat in ferrari and
masta flat in everything. Taking masta flat in lotus/eagle is actualy slower
than lifting as u end up scrubbing off to much speed to make the turn, best
is to lift a tiny bit as you turn into the left bit.

I don't know the name of the corner, but if you mean under the bridge at
the end of the back straight, yes you can take it flat in the Cooper, but
your revs rise as you go over the crest, so it's not really useful in a
race, and no faster than lifting slightly. The main thing is to have
enough nerve to get back on the power straight away while still heading
for the fence.

Fastest I've ever done it (I think) was 178mph minimum speed in the Lotus
on a 7:58.9 lap. Anything over 170mph is usually good enough though.

I think you get airborne if you take it too fast.  Not much, but enough to
slow you down.
