If you're spending 12/hr you have the wrong carrier.   I pay .10 a minute,
that's  $6 and hour for you guys looking for your calculators :)  Sprint.
You have to call 7pm-7am and weekends anytime to get that rate, so it
works for me.  I Have a job and can afford my $600 phone bill,  for the
time being.  It's getting old fast though.  That's a lot of money to
spend on a hobbie in a month.  Well my parents always wanted me to have a
hobbie, I think I found one I like.

Plus, you get 10% cash back at the end of a year so thats .09 cents
an hour. If you switch tell them you heard they were offering other
incentives to switch and see what they say. There always seems to be
some sign-up promo that folks aren't aware of.

You obviously don't answer to the financial committee Imperial Grand-Poohbah
that I have to (wife).  From Canada it was costing me 16 cents a minute
after 11pm.  First phone bill $460.  Lucky I didn't find my computer and
other belongings on the front lawn!  I guess I will be a much less
frequent visitor to Hawaii now. Hopefully a couple of times a month.
What really gets me is waiting for a race to start, sometimes wait for
ten minutes or longer for racers, then the 5 minutes of practice(too long,
need an adjustable practice period), then 5 minutes or less of qual.  So
sometimes it costs me a few bucks before the race even starts!

Or, tell them you "just can't handle the pressure anymore". Right

What year?  How about 1997.

We plan to have local access numbers for the full NRL in the first
half of next year.  We're just not ready to announce the actual date
yet.

Remember, Hawaii is just a prototype for NRL... it's not "the real
thing".

Do I understand this to say that there will be a local number to
access the on line racing? I just got started in Hawai so excuce me if
this seems elementary... I changed over to Sprint just to call the
board (sick huh)

After a couple of calls I am impressed with the system. Good Job Guys!

I haven't tryed a race that required a pit stop yet so I really don't
know about the pit bug. I changed to sprint so I could keep a better
track of my LD bill...(grin) is this sick or what?

Here's an idea:

Have ATn'nT sponsors all over in NRL and then thy would let you run a
free toll free line. Worth checkin' into at least
