Listen everyone, here's the deal. Regardless of what any piece of software
software would lead you to believe, for the past 3 years the chicane at
Montreal right at the pit entrance and before the grid, has not been a 5th
gear 150 mph turn. As I've said. I watch the cars blip down at least 3 gears
for that turn and when they are actually in the middle of the chicane they
are going much < 100 mph.

Now maybe before I started following stuff at that track, it was a very fast
turn, but I can say now it is not.

Matt, you are quite correct. The chicane before the start/finish
straight was made more severe to slow the cars down. This was done
for safety purposes. The track in World Circuit (F1GP) does not
        reflect that upgrade.

By the same token, the Phoenix and Mexican Grand Prix have not been
run for years, but are included in the game.

The chicane after the hairpin at Magny Cours has been removed, but
        is still in the game.

Anyone know of other track upgrades?

I guess the point is that the tracks in WC represent those of the
        1991 Grand Prix season.
