Personal reflections on 1st GP2 drive

Just a few quick personal comments...

I bought and played GP2 for the first time last night (along
with a T2), and it's hard to describe the intensity of the
experience.  Four hours and 30 minutes later, after many
practice laps and a few quick races at Monza, I was
exhausted, exhilirated, and above all, amazed by the game
creator(s), and have gained an even greater respect for the
real F1 drivers who make it look so easy.

This was, without a doubt, the most realistic and immersive
simulation experience I've ever had.  I'm joining the
throngs who say "hats off" to Geoff Crammond.  It's now
obvious to me why there are so many GP2 web sites and
dedicated GP2 gamers!  Let's keep hoping for the 3Dfx
version, too.

hehe, welcome to the world of simulation racing.  I didn't realize how much
I was missing until I bought my T2 last year.  GP2 is a great game to
demonstrate the agility and the feel of the T2.  I wouldn't praise Geoff
Crammond too much though, GP2 promised alot more than it delivered, and
nowhere have I ever seen any comments or anything from Crammond or
Microprose.  Oh well, at least the guys from Papy listen to us.  Anyway,
happy racing.  :)
