Boy, I got a lot of times lately!

I've been receiving a lot of suggestions lately, which I greatly
appreciate. I'd like to comment on a couple of them:

1) To keep track of temps, setups, etc:  I'd like to, but then we'd be
past 1 line per entry which I really don't want to do. If it can be kept
on one line, I'm for it, but ......

2) To keep track of more than the top time, thus to have a podium or a
podium plus: Effective immediately, I will track the top times for each
track, dry (and wet when appropriate). How many times I will track will
probably be 3-5 for each condition. Its purely at my discretion (hey,
I'm keeping the list, and I want to see if there is difference in car
types).

Also, I was sent the list from AOL. I decided not to keep those entries,
as this is "our" list...

And a couple of comments:  PLEASE remember to include car and engine
type. There are a few entries that did not have this.  Second, It would
make my life easier if you sent your times in the same format that its
shown in the list (complete with your first and last name). Lastly,
when you send me mail, please include ICR in the subject line.

Now, what the heck do you mean by that? Are we getting a bit snobby here?
I happen to be in both places, and if I send you a message from AOL it

What makes you think this is not the internet? Are you the authority to
tell where the net ends and where another world begins?

I personally am not very fond of AOL and some of its member's attitudes
recently displayed here on the net forums, but what you are doing here
is pretty much an attitude that is not going to make it easier to
assimilate newcomers to the net.

AOL is part of the internet, just like Compuserve. They just dial in
thru a few different computers. They let us internetters participate in
their championsips, so why can't they be on the internet top times list?
Shouldn't this internet list be the list of lists, since it is the big
enchilada of all networks anyway?

Just a few thoughts for you. By the way - all the drivers that were on
the AOL times I sent to you also have internet addresses that don't end
on aol.com
