I was running the Indy 500 the other night when I noticed something very curious. The
yellow flag came out and we all fell in behind the pace car. I was in 4th place, and
there was a line of about 10 cars behind me. All of a sudden, about 7 or 8 cars come
screaming by at race speed. Now I thought maybe these were lapped cars that got ahead
of the pace car, but no, because they came around again at breakneck speed and put
everyone a lap down. This they did a second time. Anyone else had this happen?

--- Yes this seems to happen as I have noticed the same thing.  Only with
INDYCAR2 though so far, and not the NASCAR coversion.

-- Also a small note, Nazareth (I believe) with NASCAR racing, the pace
car will leave the track on the backstretch... maybe this is right, but the
green comes out seemingly at the end of the backstretch (ie. a little early).

--- At any rate, I think it's just plain GREAT that we can do as much as
we can with the tracks now, so who cares? :-)  A few minor adjustments
or fine-tuning is all that's needed.  Hats off to "Jeb" and his staff over
at "the PITS" :-)  Great work.
