My brother found a strange anomaly with the cameras in GPL. I don't
know if this has been reported in the past, but here it is.
He can "park" any camera at any point on the track and make it a
stationary view. For example, he can "drop" a gearbox camera on the
track and then watch all the cars drive right over the camera. Or he
can stop a panning TV camera at a certain point and keep it from
panning so it remains focused on one corner.

What you do is to pause the action when you have the view you want to
freeze and then click on a driver that isn't in the race anymore.
Because the driver selected is gone from the track, the camera remains
where it was "dropped". The easiest way to do this is to start a race
and don't leave the grid so you are the driver that's out of the race.
Then select yourself when you want to see the parked "camera".

You can even deliberately drive off the course and park your car in
gearbox view to get a special camera angle such as Turn 5 at Mosport.

Hehe Malcom.

I happened to look at the MARAthon replay of Monza yesterday and as Chub was
disconnected with a few laps to go,  I could watch us go by from his gearbox
camera about half way between the s/f line and Curva Grande. :)
