I agree about the computer HP settings being mandatory. I wrote as
much in the survey Steve sent us. I used to do that, set the computer cars
down to where I could compete but this last race at Canada I did it with
the recommended settings. I thought I was getting better but I still was
8th. Maybe everyone else is getting better or the races are easier than
earlier this season.
I've got problems with that gpeditor which runs under Windoze. I
can't see the colours properly so I can't really make a .HEL and .CAR
file. I already have painted them in F1ED but it can't be read by this
Windoze program. Anyone know of a program that might work?
Also we're supposed to use GPLAP 3 now. I ftped gplap from
didnt.doit.wisc.edu but I'm not sure if it isn't the old one still.
Anyone got it?

Guys,  get the gplap3 or 31[windows] from brains.cc.rl.ac.uk  The Wisc. site
is a mirror of this site and therefore there is sometimes a lag between
the sites.  I have the program and it works fine.  Its in pub\Racing.
If you still can't get it let me know and i'll send you a uucoded version.

Eryc,

I'll think you'll find that my site (brains.cc.rl.ac.uk) is in actual fact
a mirror of didnt.doit.wisc.edu, so the lag works the other way around!

The reason I have a later version of GPLAP on my site is that it was uploaded
directly to my site by a friend of the author.

If anybody has any other F1GP/WC or ICR stuff of interest, you can upload it
to my incoming directory (please no cracks or anything of a dubious nature),
but please note the directory is write only, so you will never see anything in
there.

Andy.

You have that wrong: Andy mirror my site. If he has something at Brains
that
isn't at didn'doit, then he placed that there himself in addition to all
the
mirror files. If something is there that is not at my site, it will not
automatically appear here. If I have something he doesn't have, then it
MAY
appear at brains - but he doesn't mirror all directories, since every
time I
add a branch, he has to rewrite his ftp script to get that directory, too.

If you have stuff that should be in my site, lemme know. uuencoded email
to my address is fine, too.
