Nascar: All input welcome

I have Nascar 4 by Papy with patch, good game, great graphics, a few bugs.

I never have bought Nascar 2003 season, how much better is it, does it fix
the bugs?

- also -

I know of Nascar Thunder for 2004 by EA Sports. Aside from the previous Papy
games and the current EA games , what other Nascar games are there?

Please and thanks.

Michael

Have you  been in space or a coma for 2 years? N4 was old news a year and
half ago......

If you like Nascar then get N2k3. Don't even think about any other title,
they all stink. Next years EA Thunder series might (big might) be decent but
we'll have to wait and see.

N 2003 has a more realistic and drivable physics model than N 4...It has
many subtle and not so subtle improvements over N4.
Since N 2003 has also become the universally accepted game of choice for
most stock car simming, you will find much more in the way of downloadable
material, such as carsets and paint schemes- not to mention the various mods
available.

Plus, look at all the mods for NR2003, TransAm, BUSH, TRUCKS.... more to
come

I read that N2003, still uses the N4 physics engine.

Thanks

I have discovered this, it gets time-consuming creating new cars all the
time.

Who beat you up today? Lemme guess, you're 12.

I never bought N2003 due to the many people who claimed it had more bugs
than N4.

Have you been in a coma for a while, Papy has no plans on a new title (due
to a variety of reasons), N2003 will become outdated and some of us might be
looking to the future.

I rarely post to this group, I don't know who's who, I'll bet you're one of
those annoyances who has been blocked by the regulars, I'll do the same -
poof.

Plain and simple Michael,  as of this moment in time, there is no
better Nascar simulator than Nr 2k3.  The added benefit of Bucsh, CTS,
and Road Racing mods add further to the value.  Last I checked, Stores

attacking...he's stating fact.
Now EA may suprise us with their next effort, that is yet to be seen,
but right now...right here...Nr2k3 is the king.

I wasn't tying to be mean, you post just struck me as very funny. Humor, you
might want to try it, keeps the world interesting.

LOL, You say you don't post here often, sounds like you don't come here and
read often either. N4 is ancient, ask anyone. N2k3 is old too, came out over
a year and half ago (that's why it sells for around $10.00). N2k3 was also
patched.... a looooong time ago( like a year ago). You asked a question and
said all input was welcome...... I just summed up the last year and half for
you.

Get N2k3 and forget the rest, oh, and lighten up a little.

It's more that Papyrus have a shared game-engine through their titles.
Basically, GPL, N4, NR2002 and NR2003 share the same game engine at it's
core.  The implementation in N4 was very crude (we're talking about what, 3+
years ago now?), but it was still far above any other simulation at it's
time.  NR2003 has two cycle of development in advanced physics and tweaking.
It's still not perfect.

Seriously, if you want the most realistic Nascar simualtion, go get NR2003.
There's _NO_ other choice.
