Can anyone give me some hints on how to pass the expert stage in the rally
school? I've been trying this for quite some time now, but to no avail.

If I may say it myself, I think I'm a pretty good driver by now, but I still
get 'Failed' every time :(

The areas where I get the lowest scores are speed, braking and position. But
I doubt that you can go much faster without ending up in the woods and I use
my brakes where suitable. And the position of my car around the track is
also just fine. So...what do you have to do to pass this one???

Thanks in advance!

I`ve had cmr for two weeks and must admit have had enough practice to win
the intermediate (winning the expert champ is tougher, since the PC seems
faultless unlike real people!) The Expert driving school stage is ok
provided you set the car up well, try different gearing for speed, and
really hug the inside of corners - basically chuck it!

the target time seems to be around 1.56 or something for a reasonable speed
score (night stage)

Thanks for the advice - I'll give it another try later tonight.
