...several others are border-line, but the 360 and Lister are intolerable at
least to my ears.

How do you swap sounds in F12002/GTR2002?  Are there any sounds out there
that would suit either of these vehicles?  I have the SSM Mod if that helps.

This is such a blast to drive these sports cars...and this mod is incredibly
well done.  Unbelievable, really, if you had asked this old-timer 5 years
ago if something like this (mod) was possible.

Easy.  Go into the sounds/car folder and copy the following to a temp
directory:

f360_high_ext.wav
f360_low_ext.wav
f360_max_ext.wav
f360_med_ext.wav

Rename them to f360_high_int.wav and so forth, then copy them back into the
sounds/car directory...

So you are saying the exterior sounds for the 360 aren't distorted?  Are
they the correct volume?  The Porsche GT-N car sounded more distorted to me
as an AI car than when I was driving it myself.  Are the AI sounds the same
as external or is external for you only when you are using an out of the car
camera/driving view?

Thanks,

Marc

Ignore my first reply--it works brilliantly. Thank you very much!

Of all the cars, only the 360's interior sounds are objectionable to me.
Maybe because the totally different exterior sounds are so much like what I
expect high-strung Ferraris to sound like...!
