Xmas thanks for the GPL modders!

Having spent a couple of evenings updating my GPL cars & tracks, I have to thank
all the people involved in keeping GPL looking the best there is.

Whilst recently the fantastic efforts of Ian Bell & his team in taking F12002
and producing a superb (and improved on the original!) mod have captrured the
attentions of ras, the GPL mods have quietly continued and are quite amazing.

It isn't quite as simple though as installing the GTR2002, and some more effort
is required but once completed I do believe GPL represents the best looking and
sounding sim available.

My greatest reference for this latest update has been:

Which has proved a great source of links and instruction.

So for anyone who returns to GPL and finds it lacking graphically, it is well
worth a look at the site above. The evolution from 1998 to 2002 has been quite
remarkable - lets hope it continues :)
