N2002: No Fixing Coming. No Budget For Patches - Wait For NASCAR 2003 and Pray..

Took Sierra about 1 hour to delete the post explaining how they didnt have
funds after $100 Million in sales to fix the problems in Nascar 2002.  So we
the league masters have to run our leagues with what we got.  Still the best
sim racing programs in the world.  There will be no more patches.  There
will be no fixes to the known bugs and most unfortunately for New Tyres.exe
and all its variants:  1 gallon.exe, 40 cloudy.exe, cross weigtht x .exe,
etc, etc.

I had just wished for some fixes guys.  Lets hope that Papyrus gets us N2003
soon.  Remember that Papyrus isnt expert in racing simulations or they would
do them professionally like www.digital-vehicles.com.  These people are just
a publishing company.  There understanding of racing physics is limited so
do expect to much.  But we do have the best racing game around..  Just dont
expect a fix for anything until N2003.   Sent them a list of problems and
got no
response..

Why would they need to do professional systems if they were experts?  Do you
think that catering to the home use base makes it less of a product?  I'm
sure they see where the best market is and they go for it.  The professional
side is much smaller I would assume.

What post did they delete and what did it explain?  Was it a post they made
about how they don't have money or a post that an outsider wrote assuming
there will be no patch because of their money situation?

posts, that would help keep your troll ass away from here...  Wilshe your
bridge is calling, don't fight it, go under it...

C'mon, Don!  What's the point of this post?  It only makes you look like an
idiot.

If you are trying to point out that there are "cheat.exe" programs that
don't get detected by the Papyrus checksum programming, I think just about
everyone already knows that.  It doesn't take a genius to go into a WG
"arcade" race, temps at 40 degrees and guys are running 1:12's....to know
they are cheating.  Who cares "how" they are cheating.  There's talk of the
"hybrid cars" all over the Sierra chat rooms....so that's not "news you can
use."

If you wanted to be credible....you'd explain these purported "bugs"....not
just name drop them.  And who but you maybe, is expecting the 2003 version
of NASCAR from Papy to be out.......when its currently July of 2002, barely
half-way through the current Winston Cup season?  Get a clue, Don....it will
be out in 2003 (or just before).  That's how it works when you name a racing
sim.....after a series seasonal year!

And I bet you still wonder why everyone at Papy still doesn't like you.  Go
figure?

Yeah I remember that IVGA racing "simulatOr" that was supposed to rule the
market

That was 6 years ago.  The more things change, the more they are the same.
