It's a special feature of most newsreaders. Mine has options for character
transposition, misappropriate homonyms (eg. to/ too), and of course the
generic misspelling.

I've noticed that the AOL newsreader has a feature that strips out
punctuation and capitalization. It will also take good prose and
automatically insert grammatical errors, run-on sentences, personal attacks
and "colorful" phrases. I'm so jealous, I sent an email suggesting that
these features be added to my newsreader.
