Just wondering if any of you visit/know of any decent ras style chatrooms,
preferably ones that aren't populated by 13 year old kids who sound like
they've been sucking helium.
Ones that arent dedicated to a single sim, kinda like to chew the cud about
everything from 3D deathchase on the spectrum to recent sims like SCGT and
GP3.

Using emulators, playing it brings back fond memories of 5 minute loads and
the "Spectrum rainbow shriek" and its probably still the only game that
gives me a pure adrenalin rush every time I play it....
Funny thing is, even though got a 1000+ computer on this here desk with
GPL, GP3, SCGT, Age of Empires et all loaded onto the HD I still fire up the
speccy emulator most nights and play such classics as Manic Miner, Jet Set
Willy, Full Throttle, School Daze as well as all the Ultimate stuff like
Atic Atac, Jetpac, Lunar Jetman, Sabre Wulf, Knight Lore and imho the best
game ever written - Underwurlde.
Sigh...those were the days.

Did you ever play Android 2? I think that was probably the pinacle of
Speccy games (along with Underwurlde). If you never tried it, download it
and give it a try.
