Within seconds of each other the teams started checking in and reporting
their receipt of the starters instructions.
Grand Marshall Don Wilshe, coordinating with Joe Farr, set the weather and
issued the command, Gentlemen Start Your Engines!
Don Wilshe you may recall is known for saying, There are no friends at
200 miles per hour...,only fans!
George Sandman in Gulf/CICC #1, Tim Olson in Gulf/CICC #2, and Kaavah
Akbari in Team Savats, were followed closely into turn one by, Benjamin
Fields in Team Speed Racer, and then Terry, The Dutchman, Vreeland in The
Miami Project #1. In a period of less than 10 seconds the first replies
were sent, the teams are off and running in the MIRacing Enduro 24!
