Richmond race speeds

Question :  what kind of race speeds are others getting at Richmond ?   I
have tried a variety of setups, my own, those I have downloaded and I run
about 119-120 mph and fade to about 118 after 75-100 laps.  From the
comments I read on the setups I have downloaded - this is what the creator
was running too.   However, at this speed I am a middle of the pack guy
against the AI cars.  I tend to have to overdrive early when I approach
being 3/4 of a lap back and then wear out the *** early.  Also, I tend
to have to drive a little low into the turns since the AI cars can outbrake
me into the turns consistently.  This, of course, does not help my lap
times.

Thanks for input - I am just curious if the AI is geared too high here or
if I should look for more speed.  By the way, the AI cars that kill me are
set to power in the 500's, traction in the 500's and drag 100-150.   At
these levels, I can win at C***te, Bristol and others too (of course
Talladega, but then again we all turn up rels there - right ?).

Well, if you have edited these numbers to be this and that is not stock,
then you may need to adjust the BLAP number a bit higher to slow them AI
lap times down some.

That way you can keep the good competition at the other tracks you
mentioned while aligning them to your abilities at Richmond.

Ex: If BLAP is now 23456 (23.456s) then you may bump it up to 23765
(23.765s) to see how that does.  Just remember that on an oval a few
tenths of a second make for big changes in MPH, especially on a small
oval.
