I was hoping that someone could give me a little assistance with this issue.
I have a P-II 450 with a Voodoo Banshee card.    My problem is that I can't
get any higher resolution than 640x480.   Does anyone else have this
problem?   What was the solution??

I've sent an Email to technical support at EA but hadn't gotten a response
back yet.

Thanks for any assistance,

Clark

That's all you'll get.  Its hard coded in the software an no patch is expected.
EA is working on SBK2000 instead.

Jason.

No it's not!

I can get 800x600 on mine!

They really shouldn't have released it without supporting at least
1024x768.

Ok.  My mistake.

Maybe you can shed some light on how to get 800x600 for Clark?

Whatwhatwhat?  Exactly which Voodoo card are you using - Voodoo2?  From
everything I've read Banshee and Voodoo3 users are limited to 640x480.

I'd love to know if you found a work-around.

TIA!

There was no 'work around'. I have the option of 640x640 or 800x600 as
soon as I install SBK.

I'm using a:

Pentium MMX 166MHz,
32MB of RAM,
12MB Creative Labs Voodoo II,

If you require even more proof of this I would be happy to upload a
screen shot of the Options/Graphics screen for you.

The original poster's question related to a Banshee, for which the problem
remains (also V3's).  No need to prove what everyone already knows....

Cheers,
