Its real ANNOYING seeing people ask a dozen times "is pace on"  please open
eyes and read the event rules when you join a race!  I recall an earlier
post saying something about being lazy? :)

I agree!! In fact, I have recently decided to use one of my auto-chat lines
for "no pace no yellow".  That saves me from typing it at the start of EVERY
race.  :-)

That's like the people who would join one of my races on VROC, qualify, then
realize after the race starts it's a Pro Long race.  Then, they'd bail.

HELLO?  It's on the connection screen what kind of race it is.  If you don't
want to race a Pro Long, DON'T JOIN!.  Sheesh...

Eldred that would require people to actually open their eyes, use their
education and read. The greatest thing about the 1.1 patch was the ability
to force certain classes of cars. Pre-patch I can't count the number of
times I spent the whole qual period asking some bozo in a F1 car to please
leave as it was a F2 or F3 race even though that was clearly stated in the
comments section (and at times was even the password).

Yeah, I know.<sigh>  People just DON'T pay attention...
I can see them accidently trying to join a passworded race(I've done it once or
twice).  That's easy to miss.  The main thing *I* look for is the track, the
length of the race, and the name of the server.(Some are better than others)
If the person is running 640x480 on their desktop, I can almost see them
missing the comments, as it will be off their screen unless they scroll.
However, they should understand a message from the host that it's an F2 or F3
race, and disconnect accordingly.

People still use 640 x 480??<G> Guess I forgot about that. Even on my 7 year
old 14" P.O.S. monitor I used to run 1024 x 768. And people wonder why I
wear glasses <G>
