Previous versions of Nascar Racing allowed different player cars for
each car list.  I have not found a way to change my car from #83 which
is the default.

Any information would be appreciated.

Go to the Player Info screen from the main menu, and you'll see two car
choice drop-down selections (there's one for Single Player and another for
Multiplayer).
