OW-Racing.com in conjunction with Hoosier Racing Tires, and the United
Sprint Car Series (USCS) are extremely proud to release for Public Beta, the
OWSC (Open Wheel Sprint Car) mod for Nascar Racing 2003 by Papyrus.

An incredible amount of work and thought has gone into this mod that we are
ALL ***ed to. Hopefully, it will be well received by the community, and
more importantly, feedback is contributed that makes it even better when the
FINAL release is available. All support and feedback should be directed to
the OW-Racing.com FORUMS

The OWSC Mod is specifically designed for asphalt tracks 1 mile in length or
less, but will work on all tracks.

It is extremely IMPORTANT to pay attention to the README file, as a new
method for installation has been achieved!!

Some of the highlights:

- .exe is modified to use as the default setup. This prevents user setups
from being overwritten in the specific folders.

- Installer creates some unique directories which don't touch anything else
in the game. It does mean however, that when you click on the OWSC desktop
icon, that the OWSC Sprint Car Mod is the only series available. To play
CUP, GNS, TPTCC, etc, you will have to leave the game and re-enter using
those icons.

Car Physics -

Weight - 1500lbs
Fuel tank is towards the middle of the car, so there isn't much F/R weight
shift when fuel burns.
Wheelbase - 88"
Front Track - 71"
Rear Track - 68"
Both Front tires are the same as well as both Rear tires (rather than L/R)
Only one forward gear
The drag on the grill tape settings is reversed(lower tape setting is less
drag)

Garage Limits:

Steering ratio lower limit set to 6 degrees
Rear Camber set between +3.0 and -3.0 degrees at increments of 0.1
Front and Rear Spring maximum of 3000 lbs
Track bar set to 0"-15"
Left and right weight bias set between -150 and +150 lbs
Front and Rear weight bias set between -150 and +150 lbs
Wedge set between -200 and +200 lbs
First gear is allowed to be taller
Front Wing (formerly TAPE) can be adjusted in 1% increments
Rear Wing (formerly Spoiler) is set between 0 and 45 degrees

Aftermarket Tracks Support

Aftermarket tracks will work provided you follow the instructions in the
README for copying the generic OWSC setups from the "sprints" folder.

ENJOY
