I am looking to purchace a Thrustmaster T2 after reading many of the
review and comments here.

Any suggestions where I might look for one at a reasonable price??

Thanks for your help in advance,

Scott

I just picked one up for the wife last weekend ("Honest, Hon, it's just
for you!" <hehe>)...

Circuit City: $99
Best Buy: $109
CompUSA: $129

These stores were in the Atlanta area...

Have fun,
Sean

I also got mine at Circuit City here in Birmingham, AL.  They have NEC
computers that come bundled with NASCAR Racing.  They had a T2 set up on
one to show off the computer and T2.  I fiddled with the generic set-up
that comes with the game and got the car going faster than 179 mph down
the backstretch at Talladega.  Then, I returned with current WC and IROC
carsets and loaded them on the computer.  I asked how much they would
let me have a T2 for.  They knocked $20 off and I got it for $79.  I'm
not saying it will happen for you, but, what have you got to lose?

I hate you guys :-) !!!

In South Africa, I am a registered computer dealer and my
wholesale price for the T2 is R775.  That amounts to the monthly
grocery budget for me and the wife. For comparison, a loaf of
bread costs around R2.50.  So I can have a T2 for the price of 310
loafs of bread.

Other interesting *wholesale* prices :
Pentium 133 chip : R1150
1.2GB Western Digital HD : R1160
16MB EDO RAM : R500

The current exchange rate is plus/minus R4.80 / dollar, but our
customs duties also take their toll.

Willem
