I'm looking at replacing my CRT with aTFT but the older ones I've seen are
pretty poor when it comes to fast moving graphincs in racing sims. Anyone
have any real experience of the newer models. Anyone any experince of AG
Neovo particularly their X series.

If you mean LCD, yes, I'm using one right now, an 18.1 inch Ultrasharp Dell
and its great for racing. Just make sure the refresh rate is below 25ms and
you'll be fine.

Apparently some LCD panels were only able to have sub-25ms refresh rates by
limiting the number of colors they produced, so be careful to check that
too. I'm currently using a Dell FP2001 (20", rated at 16ms, 16M colors) and
I'm quite happy with it for N2003 and F1C. Here's a link to a review of it:
http://www.anandtech.com/showdoc.html?i=1918 . Yes, you can get a 20" CRT
for a bit less, but personally I prefer the image quality of this panel. The
Dell panel is connected to an ATI 9800 XT video card. According to
ExtremeTech's testing, the 9800 series cards produce a more accurate DVI
signal at 1600x1200 than most GeForce cards. (
