I have heard of on line racing but have never seen anyone do it. Is there a
way to see one of these on line contests?

um, depends which game you're on about but basically if you have the
game, join one of the servers. You don't HAVE to race, you can just
watch on the normal replay cameras. Much more fun to drive though.

I remember Chris talking about*** a dedicated spectator server off
the main WSC server, that would be awesome I reckon.

But for nascar 4 or Grand Prix Legends (which I think you are referring
to) just join the server - using the internal N4 server list or
http://www.racesimcentral.net/ for GPL.

It is of course alot more fun to race :)

Trouble is if you're gonna spectate GPL or N4, you're taking up a driver
slot, and using server bandwidth.  A better solution would be to get some
replays of online racing.  If you have GPL I could point you to the replays
from the last two races in our online league, which has just finished this
week.

I have GPL but I have very seldom used it because of time constraints. I
have just installed it on my new computer and hope to have the time to get
into it. Please send me the info.

    I still have a copy of one of the On-Line race Radio broadcasts from the
Track-Talk show.  That might be interesting to you :-)  It's a bit big at
38,938KB compressed but well worth the download if you want it :-)
