IndyCar 2 Paintkit Question

Has anyone else found that when you design a car in the paintkit of
IndyCar 2, the panels don't quite line up properly?

To give an example, I repainted the basic car to a shade of light blue.
However, in the game and in the Driver Info screen, there is a thin red
line between the side panel and the cowling on one side, and a similar
red line on the other side between two other panels. I can't see these
red lines in the paintkit, and I cannot find a way to get rid of them.
Has anyone else found this, and if so, is there a solution?

Thanks in advance.

Left over seam from the previous car.  Known bug, which Papyrus said
they would be fixing.

I get the same damn thing - I thought that would have been corrected
when I downloaded the quickfix for the white skunk strip.  Oh well, I
guess I'll go paint my car red!
