$100 is about the cheapest price i've seen.  Most of the prices paid that
were posted were $120-$140.

I got mine at Circuit City a few months ago for $99, and I felt ripped
when I discovered that people were buying it off-the-shelf for $89!
But hearing things like in this above post, I feel sort of lucky! It
is disconcerting that every place has such a *wildly* differing price.
CompUSA is $149.99. Now I hear Thrustmaster suggests $180, which is
what Walden Software is selling it for. What the hell is going on?
That is *DOUBLE* the best going off-the-shelf price!

The fact that most people can easily get it for $90-$100 says to me
that we are seeing overpricing in many of these instances. I don't
think it is good for buisness when Thrustmaster has at least 1/4th of
their customers feeling monstrously ripped off. Maybe they just had
some promo thing, and took a big loss on the $90 ones. Anyone care to
guess?

Not That I need to care, since I was lucky enough to be near a Circuit
City... but it does make you wonder.
