Boy,
I sure am glad I don't have a computer good enough or the money to be
frustrated into flame oblivion as the cpr folks.
Here's my problem. And if you notice it's
been a while since I asked for help cause I thought I should take all the
advice I got (thank you) and figure it out. Anyway, I can not get the
whole car exported for paint and decals. All I can get is the decals and
when I try to "do" my car in corel draw4 it will not go back into the sim.
So I've tried to find a way to import my pcx files to the paintkit that
comes with N1 and I guess I'm just stupid. I can't figure this out.
Is there anyone who could apply a pcx file I have to the "97 car"?
Or maybe someone would take me under their wing so that I can figure out
how to do this myself? Maybe both? If someone else tries it, then maybe
they could tell me how. Thanks a lot

You can't import a car.pcx file into the game if you don't draw the product
with the original paintkit program or you use a paintkit paint pallete, which
lets you use the same colors in the paintkit with the drawing program, you
might wanna try to use Paintshop Pro, there are palletes readily available at
many websites.

Sounds like you have palette problems. Someone, maybe Dave Noonan,
wrote an FAQ on "how to paint cars" which may or may not still be
available in the N1 trim. I know it's available for N2...
