ICR2: NO FAIR!!

how come I never get to brake at the right time? is it my gear setup? I'm
saying this because if I brake ealier than I do, I end up being passed. If
I do it when I see them doing it, I never get to stop before running to
their behind. and when I manage to *just* stop.. I can't accelerate as
fast as they do.

One of the most difficult parts about ICR2 (for me anyway) is trying to drive
in computer generated traffic.  The AI cars at Portland, for instance, have no
idea at all of the proper way to get off of the back straight.  The trick is
to follow the AI around a little and see what they are doing wrong, then take
advantage of it to pass.  At Portland, since they come off of the back
straight so slowly, I let them get just a little ahead of me and then do my
thing: 5th through 7, 4th through 8, and then just drive inside of the AI car
in turn 9 and out accelerate it down the straight.

Also, if you have the difficulty set to less than 100% the AI braking problems
are magnified.
