Winmip 1.1 and Win 98

I've been trying to use the Winmip program from the Pits to do some editing on
some track mip files, and I used to have it running fine in Win95 on my old
machine, but I can't get it to work correctly on my new Win98 box.  Has anyone
else had any probs with 98?  I copied the three files to the system folder (two
were more recent and not overwritten) and when I start winmip.exe the main
screen comes up it doesn't do anything when I try to unpack a .dat file (I did
copy in the pack and unpack exe's).
If anyone else has had a problem and solved it, I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks,
Chris

There is no problem with Win98. It looks like one of the runtime files (
most likely Comdlg32.ocx) is not registered correctly. Go to my site and
get the current WinMip Ver. 1.2 which comes with a setup program that
registeres the runtime files. You can also get there an update to the
current revision 1.2.5
