How Does Daytona Work?

I have installed the two Daytona tracks into my track folder for N3. the
problem is I can't seem to figure out how to get the tracks to show up when
I play the sim. Would appreciate any help so that I can enjoy the greatest
track on the circuit.

Thank You In Advance,

Pete Johnson

You have to edit the calendar file.
go to your n3 folder and edit the all.cal file with notepad
a: see how the numbers on the far left are in order?  They have to stay
that way and you always have to end with that last line.  So if you add
Daytona, the easiest way is to choose the 2nd from the last line.
move the cursor until it is at the far left of the 2nd from the bottom
line and press enter.
Move the cursor back to the empty line and add the following
(this assumes you have 40 tracks in your all.cal file so the last line
is currently 41)

40  2 18 0 0 DAYTONA Daytona_500 Daytona_500 200 event1.tga trkshot.tga
biglogo.tga
41  7  4 0 1 NDAYTONA Firecracker_400 Firecracker_400 175 event1.tga
biglogo.tga
42  12 99 0 0 XXXXXXXX

do not alter line 42 other than making sure the first numbers are in
order

now the unpatched version of N3 has a limit of 40 track folders.  If you
crash, then get
the beta patch which allows many more track folders and all.cal
entries.  I currently have
82 lines in my all.cal with out night daytona or Pocono added yet... :)
then restart n3 and you should see the daytona tracks available to you.
good luck

You have to open the all.cal file in your N3 directory and add the daytona
track to it.  You should be able to see the track after that.
