Hello,

I choose to keep my identity secret because I don't want everyone flaming me through
Email.  I choose not to be an ***, but, some things I will say may offend.

Pratically everyone ignores the Amendment to Freedom Of Speech.  Everyone tells
people to "shut up,"  "be quiet,"  "stop your ***ing,"  "(Profanity),"  "etc."
Look, if you are a true American, you would consider the person's right to Freedom
Of Speech.  You probably never considered the person's rights before.
Let me set an example for you,  people posting about the rec.autos.simulators divide,
I respect those who say "Yes" and "No" to it, but I don't respect those saying
"Shut up!  Dividing it is right!" and stuff similar.

have gotten away with things.  Although they do have the right to Freedom Of Speech,
but, I don't think in a way to use profanity,  insult,  etc.

Look,  WE HAVE THE AMERICAN RIGHT TO SPEAK OUR MIND.

I'd pay more attention to your argument, except for the fact that the
Internet is not an American network exclusively.  So basically, you're
addressing only one part of the whole.

Geez, no wonder people think Americans are egocentric.

I didn't really mean just America.  I guess I was a little steamed,  I
think no one should try take away Freedom Of Speech in the group.

I hardly think telling someone to shut up impinges on their right to
freedom of speech. Saying "Shut up or I`ll kill you" is another
matter.
Then again, I`m not American, so shut up or I`ll kill you.

This is straying from the original subject but so does every thread I
read now, so here it is. I am American. I think America is pretty
cool. I wish I could live in Europe for a few years to broaden my
horizons. That is not economically possible for me. The next best
thing is the internet and newsgroups in particular. I have met such a
wide range of people here and it has tought me to be very aware of the
multi-national nature of things. This is not easy for an American. I
think this nation as a whole thinks that its shit doesnt stink, due
largely through the U.S. media propaganda factory.

I think that the point of the internet should be to electronically
bridge distances that could not be covered in other ways. We should
all try to pick up on the culture of others and respect it.

It's too bad that you feel that you must "hide" your identity.  It
somehow deminishes what you have to say.  If you can't stand up for your
convictions and let it be known who you are, it's really hard to take
what you say as truthful.

Would you defend my freedom of speech to suggest that you are also known
by the monograph MF?

Not for nothing Tom, but wasn't one of your posts I just saw flaming
people for discussing the crash a Talladega? Said something about
not belonging in this newsgroup?

Thinnk it's pretty bold of you to flame people for talking about
events that WE simulate and then come up with this. Dont you?
