Anyone heard anything about this Diamond Stealth V330 or 3300 or
something....  I saw it tonight and it looks pretty good.  I may buy it
and wait for the Voodoo 2 to come out...Any opinions would be
appreciated...It comes with MotoRacer and its 2d/3d.  If someone has it
let me know.  I need a good 2d/3d card bad.

The Diamond StealthII S220 is a 2D/3D card based on the Rendition V2100
chip.  Although it's ModeX VGA is very slow, the rest of its 2D is very
solid, about as fast as a Millenium.  It's 3D is very good as well, with
Direct3D and OpenGL (with beta drivers) performance very similar to the
Voodoo cards.  I believe it's just a demo of MotoRacer, but with a
street price near $100 plus a $20 rebate from Diamond it's a great deal.

The Diamond Viper V330 is a 2D/3D card based on the Riva128 chip.  It's
a good all around card, with very fast 2D and 3D and there also are
alpha OpenGL drivers.  It has extremely fast Direct3D performance, but
unfortunately to get these scores the card does some mip-map compression
which noticeably lowers the visual quality.  While it may be faster than
the Rendition and Voodoo cards, the picture quality is no where near as
good.
