Yes, and most definitely worth it!  You can purchase the Thrustmaster T1, which has pedals for gas
and brakes, as well as a "gear shift" and buttons for shifting, all of which can be configured.  You can
obtain the T1 from Chips & Bits for $111.00 plus S&H, and if they are out, you can get it from
Computer Express for $111.00 plus S&H.  The telephone numbers are 1-800-699-4263 and

   My current setup is a virtual pilot flight yoke from CH products for
steering and home made pedals. This setting is just not comparable to
joystick, it's a lot more efficient and realistic for road circuits.
The virtual pilot is ~ $(CAN)100.
