Help rick help!! Networking...

Hi Rick.

Nice job on patrolling the newsgroups. I wish more companies would do the same
with their tech support.

I have a few questions regarding networking and nascar.

When trying to connect over an ipx network, what is the "user-id", MY id or the
person i am trying to connect to?

Are there any other things i may need to know about running nascar over an IPX
network with packet drivers (ie: vectors etc.) I have tried but am unsucessful
at connecting to another computer.

Thanx
Matt

The "server" part pretty much sums it up...  You have to log in to a dedicated
Novell server.  When you log in, you typically specify a user ID and password;
this is the user ID you specify with the /n parameter when starting Nascar.
It's actually pretty simple IF you have access to a server...  If you don't,
you'd be better off using a serial cable; there's no difference in gameplay or
performance.
