IWCCCARS: What the heck is going on??

Everyone --

Well, you may have noticed this week that everything at IWCCCARS has
been, shall we say, FUBAR (please DON'T ask me to explain the
acronym).  Let me attempt to explain what's going on.

Fed up with XMission, I decided to switch Internet Service Providers,
as well as moving the IWCCCARS site to the donated space on GIT.NET.
My new ISP, EagleNet Online here in Provo, initially impressed me with
their Web access speed, but unfortunately their policies on account
space, account fees, access, and non-existent support soured me
quickly on their services.  So, I'm back at XMission for the moment.
Add to that the fact that GIT.NET has suddenly had a major hiccup that
has rendered our mirror there unreachable, and you can see my problem.

Since all this hit in one week, I've been scrambling to make new
arrangements.  Just so you know, I have been planning for a while to
invest in a virtual server for a pretty ambitious project, and in the
bargain I was going to move IWCCCARS there.  However, I had been
waiting to secure sponsorship or at least some partners to help defray
the cost of the server (US$95/month).

Unfortunately, events have decreed that this process be accelerated,
so the virtual server is now on order and should be operational by the
end of next week.  IWCCCARS will be moving there hopefully before July
26th.  Until then, you can still access the site from XMission.
Updates will not happen this week because of preparations for the
move, but I don't anticipate any big changes over the course of the
week.

I have to thank you all for your patience in this matter.  Please
forgive me for leading you on a wild goose chase without explaining
what was going on.  Your support is welcomed and always appreciated.

Sincerely,
Tony Johns
