    I used to hang out here in RAS, but have been busy with other things
lately.  One thing I did this last weekend was to go to the Porsche
Rennsport Reunion at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut.  I took a bunch of
pictures of all the vehicles and thought someof the folks in here might like
to check them out:

Some nice shots there.  In some you seem to have been somewhat distracted
from the cars, though :)  You wouldn't happen to prefer blondes, would you?

I was there on Sunday, looks like a bit later than you (got there around
noon).  That Gulf 917K seems to have been gone by the time I got there, as
was the "Hippie" car and the Prototype.  I did take a whole roll of film of
the Martini 917 while it was waiting to be loaded onto the transporter,
though, including a pretty good shot of the***pit - they had the driver's
door open to push the car around.  I'll be scanning my pictures and posting
them sometime this weekend.

I understand they have this thing once a year at different racetracks.

Lime rock has some pretty cool stuff.  They just had a Ferrari gand prix or
something a couple months ago.  I missed that one.  I go every year for the
vintage racing on Labor day weekend (1st weekend of Sept).  I was out at
this one because my best friend Andy (also appearing in several pictures)
was out form Colorado.  he has a 911 of his very own, but wanted to bask in
glow of the the 917s.

Heh...they just seem to be more eye catching in the bright sunshine.
Youshould have seen the ones that got away!

We got there right around noon, as well.  We stayed until almost everything
was loaded up, swilling beer in the paddock and leering at the girls walking
around.

looking forward to your pics.  Heck, I probably saw you there and didnt even
know it.  i forgot to wear my "r.a.s. veteran" pith helmet.
