Hi,

I have been trying to update F1GP to 95 car specs. I have been using the
set which had been posted here, which contained the .hel and .car files
to be used with GP Editor in Windows.
All was well until we realised that some of the numbers were not needed due
to the smaller field this year. It was at this point that we discovered
that the editor did not have a facility to remove (i.e. make not used)
some of the cars in the .exe field.
Is there an easy way to do this? We tried to use the DOS editor, but this
involved un-exeing the gp.exe and hence meant that we couldn't load the
colours in using the Windows editor.
Any advice?
It was much easier with the 94 set as it came as a .zip which automatically
updated the gp.exe - easy peasy! Is there such a .zip for 95?

Thanks...

There are two ways to make the other cars 'un-raceable'.

1) Make the car # = 0 (zero)

2) Make the hp = 100 and ratings = 34, 34

[...gped/win...]

It's a RTFM. Just set the car number to 00. If only people would
actually read the documentation first...

Oh yeah, fix your newsreader to insert a valid reply-to field or from
address. Grump grump.
