First, not enough jobs locally (and thus, no money to support my
***ions...one of which is racing sims). Second, my ISP account expires on
the 22nd. The clamp on my TM wheel broke last week. And now, the paddle I
use for acceleration has just broken at it's base.

This is going to be utter hell until I can find a new job. :(

...can't even play NR2002 now. *sniffle*

Dude, I'm sorry for your problems but look around you, it could be a lot
worse. The paramedics just hauled away my good friend and neighbor...doa,
the big C. The poor bastard was only 53 years old...

There aren't jobs *anywhere* right now.  I spent 6 months last summer
on unemployment before randomly stumbling on the best job I've ever
had thanks to a series of unlikely coincidences.  My GF has a
bachelor's degree in marketing and is currently doing pretty normal
office work because she's had to compete for the marketing jobs with
people who have graduate degrees and 20+ years of experience but have
been laid off in the past year or so.

Tough time to be looking for work.  Best of luck finding something.

Yeah, that's a problem.  I *hate* my current job, and it's driving me crazy -
but I can't find anything else?  I may have to make a choice between risking my
sanity/health and risking financial ruin...  Some choice...

Never argue with an idiot.  He brings you down to his level, then beats you
with experience...

IMHO, Sanity is over rated in today's world.

But,  "If you have your health you have everything."
