The Taurus a Lemon?

The Taurus a Lemon?

As almost everyone knows by now, Ford unveiled it's new racing mounty,
the 1998 Taurus.  Now, my question is, are they going to reshape the
street model?  The car they unveiled looks nothing like a taurus, and,
personally, I think it'd be pretty damn scary to drive that car around
Daytona at 200 MPH, because it's nowhere near the aerodynamic bullett
that the T-Bird is.
So, what will happen?  Personally, I'm considering moving to Pontiac
next year......

Brandon I agree.. The Taurus unveiled looks like a Monte carlo clone.
Nothing compared to the street Model. My friends own a taurus and there is
NO resemblence

The Taurus a Lemon?

Saw the "Taurus" NASCAR entry in Gasoline Alley at the Brickyard last
weekend (I'll have scanned pix in a few days if anyone's interested).
While it doesn't exactly look like a Monte Carlo, it IS a pretty
humorous-looking Taurus. The "rear door" lines end up in about the
middle of the rear wheel-well, and outline a "door" that your average
Munchkin would have difficulty squeezing into. Cool rollout paint job,
though...
