The Australian Super7 League
Proposal:
To run a league of 7 races, at 7 different tracks, with 7 different cars.
The races:
To most likely be run as Intermediate LONG races, but his is TBC
This won't be in place of the already successful GPLAC, but be run as a 'fun
league' to compliment the more serious Australian Championship.
Rules
The rules will be finalised soon. They will be fairly common sense rules,
similar to those run in the GPLAC, with a few exceptions:
? Shift R will be allowed with the following. If you have to Shift R at
anytime during the race, you will then have to return to the pits, and again
Shift R. This will be a significant detterant to accidents, while not
penalising ppl by excluding from the rest of the race. This WILL be
difficult, if not impossible to police, but like I say, this is just a 'FUN
league' ?
? Rolling starts??? This is just an idea. when the Green flag goes, we
would do 1 warmup lap.. single file and then the race would be started on
the next lap. Just an idea. ????
Cars:
All cars in Grand Prix Legends
Drivers must select a different car for each track. They may 'pick and
choose' cars to match their tracks. This will bring in a different element.
Tracks :
To be voted on
Most likely to be included are:
? Monza
? Spa
? Monaco
? Nurburgring
Host:
??????
(most likely Troy Rosenberg. But to be confirmed)
Who can Enter:
TBA
(most likely to be Australian or NZ) with ping of 300 or less)
Must be a payed up member of Troy's hosting, or maybe special payments
specific to this league can be negotiated)
What you need to do...
If you are interested, you need to register your interest to
Consider
11 tracks you would prefer to run. Listed in order of preference IE. #1
Most want in the league down to #11 Least want in the league.
Format?? Int Long?? What isa your preference.
Teams??? Would you like to run in teams?? Then maybe it would be easier
with 2 ppl setting up an 'alien' car for a track?? If so.. have a think
about it.
Nights run???? We have thought of having 2 leagues, F1 and F2 similar to
GPLAC.. but on the ONE NIGHT. If so.. what night would suit you???
Remebering GPLAC is finishing soon. Friday would be good IMO, as a fun
league night leading into the weekend??

NOTE
This is JUST a proposal. Nothing is set in concrete as yet, but I am quite
sure of the format suggested. If you have anything to add, please do but
(as I'm sure you understand) it is difficult, if not impossible, to cater
for everyone ?
