thought that it will satisfy GP2 easily -- only to be running the simulator
in half-ass mode. This is ridiculous! Certainly optimizing code and
programming it all in an efficient manner would improve performance. I am a
die-hard GP1 fan, and have been fro years. As most of you, I am anxiously
awaiting the sequel, and subsequently bought the fastest machine to date.
This is quite irritating....
True, Geoff does great work, but look at how long this is taking. ICR1 was
out significantly later than GP1; and they now have the sequel to that out
already! Given that timeline, GP should be on its third iteration. I am
being patient (honest), but when you see Papyrus getting product out the
door in a more efficient manner, you have to question the business operation
at MicroProse and/or GC. Certainly, any company wanting to maintain its
existance would ensure product readiness during the busiest time of the year
-- Christmas! I hope all of this delay stuff will prove to be a big hoax. I
am looking forward to Dec 11. I hope to be playing GP2 by then, and I want
it to be kicking ass on my system.
Thanks,
Ralph.
