I have a AMD K6-II 350 with 64 MB of ram. A 4 MB AGP video card. I would
like to add a Voodoo 3000 video card. My question is would my machine be
able to handle it? And I'm sure that with the Voodoo 3 installed I would see
quite a bit of difference than the video card I'm using now, right? I'm also
thinking of adding 64 MB of ram, would that
help? Any and all suggestions welcome. Thanks

Yes.  I know someone with a P166 and 32 meg of ram who put in a VooDoo 3000
PCI and saw major improvement.  I'm sure the card is not being used to its
full advantage, but it was a big improvement nonetheless.  My daughter has a
VooDoo3/2000 PCI in a PII/266 and it works great.

Yes.

More RAM is always good.  I have 256M in my computer, my 2 1/2 year old kid
has 128M in her computer and my wife has 64M in hers.  More is better.

I don't see why it WOULDN'T.  It worked fine on *my* K6-II 350.  Now all I have
to do is install the K6-III 400 chip that I bought...<g>

     I had a K6-2/350 64 MB of SDRAM and a Voodoo3 3000 AGP, and it ran just
fine. GPL ran with 36fps at 800x600 online without any problems.

With what graphics options de-selected?  I have the same processor and video,
128K memory(pc100) and can't always get 36fps in *640x480*...  Something's
wrong here... :-(
