The best 'average joe' FF wheel seems to be the MSFFW.  Make sure you get
the USB with the 4.0 software in the box.  Skip the GamePort version.  It
will _never_ work right under Windows 2000.  Even the USB model is a
challange sometimes.  The MSFFW pedals are, IMHO, the best in the business.
I'm not crazy about the software, even when it does work.

The 'new' LogiTech Wingman Force GP isn't so hot.  The software is great,
especially under Win2K, but there are reliability concerns with this one.
While the pedals are improved on the 'new' Logitech, they still, well, suck.

A step up from the 'average' wheels would probably be the Act Labs.  This is
from what I hear, I've never used one myself.

Of course, there are the 'Gourmet' wheels such as ECCI, but I doubt that's
what you are after.
