For the rest of us who do not have wet dreams about Mr. Gates...  this
discussion group is all about DISCUSSING the downfalls and upside to
racing sims.  If someone doesnt like the game because it does not meet
THEIR expectations... who are you to judge ?!?!!??!

Its our money... and if something doesnt meet OUR expectations... be
damned if we're gonna buy it because of your and/or anyone elses
opinions.

Not trying to flame you here....  but try and be a little bit more
mature about the topics on here.

If it were 80% in some of the areas it might be worth getting. But since
its at 90% graphics, 70% feel, and 10% framerate, THAT DOES SUCK.
IMO ;)

I agree, I would think the newsgroup was for discussing ups and downs of a
racing sim. Seems to be CPR is getting quite a mixed bag of reviews,
obviously some like it, and some hate it. Regardless, quite a lot of folks
are having trouble getting what they perceive as acceptable gameplay to
them. That can't be a good thing for a game producer. Personally, I have
yet to see any game developer be able to meet the quality and realism of
Papyrus, but am always open.I am not critisizing Cpr as I have not tried
it, just making an observation on what I've been reading here. I may just
have to download the demo and give it a try for myself. I have a p233 mmx,
32 mb sdram, sierra screamin 3d card. I know it doesn't support rendition,
but I sure would expect it to run fine without a lot of tweaking by me.

Trevor...

No offense taken =)    I responded with the comment about Mr. Gates
because the original poster made a comment about thanking Microsoft.
Although I admit I had no idea who designed the product.
