I am using the Altec Lansing ACS 490 surround sound speaker system with 40
watt subwoofer. I purchased the speakers with my new Dell 233 mmx system,
so I don't know what their stand alone price would be. Check out their
website, they make some pretty decent speaker systems, from entry level to
top notch.

yes cambridge is good.  U might want to go >100$$ even, sound makes a
bigger difference than u think.  Also, I would suggest you make sure u
get a set up with a good subwoofer, turn your chair upside down and duct
tape the woofer to your chair.  then you will really feel the rumble.  I
have done this recently and its great.  The chair shakes when I shift
because of that deep bass noise that N2 has when shifting
