rec.autos.simulators

Maybe  my news-server is only getting some of the posts recently, but I
don't seem to see any "much to do" about the fact that EA is soon to release
it's Nascar 'sim' and supposedly even a demo version out soon...  what
gives?  everyone pretty sure it sucks or that it is going to?  hell I
haven't been to Sierra lobbies for a pickup race in months, though I
actually logged in over Christmas to see if it still existed.

Well, more information probably around the corner, & figures, I'd (hoped)
thought that, since Papy folded shop, my last 8-years-ritual, of upgrading
the PC due to the 'new release' of the best sim, "was now over" <Barnacle
Brothers _60 second sale_ voice>...  Maybe it still is.

I think for most that have been at this for any length of time, when EA uses
the word "simulator", everyone is in the "we'll believe it when we see it
mode"  Too much hype for previous releases that just didn't measure up.

Well actually my hopes are up, but I don't want to discuss it :-)
