Been lurking around the ng for a month or so while playing the GPL demo with
an OLD joystck. Just "bought" the full version of the game on Ebay and
ordered a wheel from Thrustmaster so am getting anxious to "drive" the
courses from the days when I followed F1-
thanks for all the info I have gleaned--don't know if I will ever be as
serious about a turn around a track as some of you are but it is a pretty
good way to wind down after a day in the foundry--working--

Sure, you can quit anytime you want. Really. You're not ***ed. Just
one more lap before bedtime, it's only 3 am. You can get up at 6. Sure.
And one final lap won't make any difference. Oooh, so close to a PB.
Better take one more....

Buzz... little secret for ya: all the ***s have jobs too. ;-)

Second secret: most don't start out taking things seriously either.<vwg>

There's no turning back, only sleep deprivation and nervous breakdown ahead.
But you'll be too busy racing and practising to notice.

Good post! I fully agree. I'm not ***ed, either ;-).

GPL has made me realize that there is no need to sleep more than 3 or 4
hours before having to go to work. BTW, if I feel like sleeping some more, I
can always sleep at work ;-)

As an extra bonus, I have discovered that if I practise all night, and sleep
at work, I can do PBs in the afternoon when I get home from work ;-)

Jon Andersen,
not ***ed to GPL, and never will be ;-)

Me neither... that back-up copy I just bought from the "Sierra
Bestseller"-range (sic) is just for piece of mind (and a bit of a thank you
for continued support), I'll probably never wear out the original as I
hardly use it. ;-)

Wind down by playing GPL?  Hehe, that's a good one.

I've studied the box in which my copy of GPL wa delievered in, and I think
it is a nice piece of art.

I'll have to admit that the walls in my living room are slightly ***.
That's why I have considered*** my original GPL box on the wall. That
would be a nice piece of art :-)

Let the Louvre have the original Mona Lisa by this italian dude that were no
good in GPL anyway - da Vinci - on it's walls. I don't care, as long as I
have the original of GPL by Papyrus ;-)

Jon Andersen,
still not ***ed, or GPL-biased in any other way ;-)

Jan Verschueren  ...

Buzz,

Whatever you do - don't give up your job - you'll need the cash for all the
computer upgrades ;-)

Cheers
