be better, but not by much.  I have used both on my C450 and the difference
is minimal.

If you can run the CPU at 450, don't bother with the 400.

BTW, my C300 blows away my K6-2 350 even when the Celeron is not
overlclocked.  The FPU on the K6-2 runs closer to a P233.

I've been running GPL on a Celeron 300 at 450 with a Banshee for months now,
and have everything turned on except full detail in the mirrors and it runs
fine.  Only problem I had was with textures screwing up when resolution was
set to anything above 640x480, but Mr. Smiley's rasterizer fixed all that
(thanks Smiley).  LOL.

Hi, another boring setup question.  I'm running an AMD-K62 333, 64 mb,

motherboard (from a friend) and was wondering if it would be enough to
get full graphics/detail at a good resolution?  Right now, I run 640,
with barely any effects and the detail slider all the way to the left.
Would the celeron enable me to max it all out?  Or should I get a
celeron 400 and run it at 500? or would that not make much difference?
Maybe the video card would have to go?  I hear the TNT is the best card,
but GPL does not support it?  So, Voodoo3?  or would the banshee be
sufficient?
Just hoping someone out there has a similar system and can tell me how
it runs...

OH, I'm talking about GPL (of course)
