HAs anyone tryed to play Motoracer with a steering wheel. I was wondering if
it would be better than a stupid joystick.
Yes I know the question is stupid too.

Control in Moto Racer is EXCELLENT with a steering wheel (and a good game
card)!  It seems weird, but it allows for so much more precision...  One thing
that will make Moto Racer completely unplayable (and based on your tone, this
may be the problem you've encountered) is a fast machine with a simple joystick
and NO game card.  I've encountered this on a couple machines (the slowest was a
166/no card); the stick was just too sensitive and there was no way to tune it
down.

Try an ACM and a T2 (or better); you'll be amazed at the difference!

It works, but I found it MUCH harder to control with a wheel than a
joystick. You really need that fast side-to-side movement for this
game.

It works good!  You'll also probably feel like a complete fool playing
it like that. I'm a motorcycle fanatic, and I felt like I was
committing a sin.  :)
It's obvious that the keyboard or a gamepad are no closer to
handlebars and a twist throttle than a wheel is, but there is
something real creepy about steering a motorcycle with a wheel.

It just isn't right. Heh.

I can't agree more!  Besides, all that *** back and forth will put a lot of
added wear and tear on your wheel.  I personally have found that a Gravis Gamepad
gives me the best control and prefer using it over a joystick or my T2.
